Poet Bhoj Aryal’s first poetry collection, Seta Bhir, Yeta Pir, has been launched. The book was unveiled during a symposium on “Online Literary Magazine: Its Strengths and Limitations,” organized by Devkota-Lu Xun Academy on Tuesday.
The book was jointly released by Language Commission member Matrika Pokharel, poet and critic Mahesh Paudyal, and senior journalist Sharad Pradhan.
During the event, Sahityapost editor-in-chief Ashwini Koirala introduced poet Bhoj Aryal, who is currently based in Canada, and reflected on his poetry from multiple perspectives.
In Seta Bhir, Yeta Pir, Aryal delves into the geographical, social, economic, and natural challenges faced by the Nepali people, capturing the struggles and sorrows of life. His poetry embodies his personal experiences, perceptions, and worldview.
Born in Gulmi, Nepal, Aryal currently resides in Regina, Canada. Besides his academic pursuits, he is passionate about writing and music composition.
The poetry collection has been published by Shabda Media Pvt. Ltd., the parent company of Sahityapost. It features 52 poems and is priced at NPR 350.
